Africatown Community Land Trust – St. Louis (ACLT-STL) is about preserving the assets of the St. Louis Black community through economic and community development, investing in Black businesses (architectural & engineering firms, contractors, and suppliers) to develop vacant land and blighted properties in North St. Louis. ACLT-STL will repurpose properties into affordable housing, office space, manufacturing facilities, and entertainment districts.

ACLT-STL is about supporting Black own businesses and enforcing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to ensure that local Black firms and organizations receive good faith efforts for a fair share of government grants targeting the Black community and procurement and contracting on projects related to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill (BIB) and Inflation Reinvestment Act (IRA), over the next 30 or more years.
