Africatown Community Land Trust – St. Louis (ACLT-STL) is a 501c3, non-profit organization, located in North St. Louis, Missouri. ACLT-STL was founded by African American residents, business owners, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) advocates who support the development and growth of local Black communities, Black owned businesses, and a skilled workforce to develop land and properties in North St. Louis, Missouri. ACLT-STL plan to acquire government land and property in the St. Louis’ Black community to repurpose for affordable housing, commercial, and industrial development that will provide local Black architectural & engineering firms and Black contractors the necessary resources and opportunity to build, operate, and grow their businesses, and to create good paying jobs for St. Louis residents to build a robust and thriving Black community.

ACLT-STL will develop and manage an MWDBE “DEI” program to ensure that local Black MWBE certified firms receive an equitable opportunity to participate in its projects with good faith efforts from pre-bid through contract close-out on federal, state, and local public procurement and contracting that will create good paying jobs for St. Louis’ residents.
